Fjord & Whale Watching Cruise
The Fjord & Whale Cruise immerses you in the heart of one of the richest marine ecosystems in Canada, where the Saguenay Fjord opens onto the St. Lawrence River.
From the start, you sail through the Saguenay Fjord, a spectacular landscape shaped by steep cliffs, rocky capes and riverside villages steeped in history. This commented portion allows us to better understand the formation of the fjord, its ecological role and the human occupation of its banks over time.
The cruise then continues towards the mouth of the Saguenay, an area internationally recognized for whale watching. Accompanied by naturalist guides, you explore an exceptional marine environment where several species meet: minke whales, seals, porpoises, humpback whales and, with a little luck, the giants of the St. Lawrence like the blue whale.
Each outing is unique. Observations are carried out with respect for wildlife, according to responsible practices which prioritize safety, the tranquility of the animals and the quality of the experience.
Between fjord and river, this cruise offers a privileged look at Quebec's marine ecosystems and the giants that inhabit them — an experience that is at once educational, contemplative and deeply impactful.
