Fjord Discovery by Zodiac
Embark at Anse-Saint-Jean aboard the Persée, our 12-passenger zodiac, for a two-hour outing as close as possible to the Saguenay Fjord. Designed as a true small group expedition, this activity offers you privileged access to one of the most spectacular landscapes in Quebec.
Guided by our captain-interpreters, you explore the steep cliffs, rocky capes, glacial valleys and formations that tell the exceptional geological history of the fjord. The zodiac allows you to approach areas inaccessible to large boats, revealing details that only a light boat can offer.
Each stop is an opportunity to learn more:
the glacial origin of the fjord;
the maritime legends and stories of Bas-Saguenay;
the life of the riverside villages;
the ecosystems that lie beneath the surface;
and the unique culture of the people who have inhabited this region for generations.
This excursion is a dive into the soul of the fjord, where interpretation, proximity and a friendly atmosphere take center stage. The small group format makes the experience human, interactive and deeply authentic.
A perfect introduction to the fjord for those who want to understand, feel and experience its immensity differently.
