Fjord, Whales & Tadoussac Trio
The Trio Fjord, Baleines & Tadoussac is the most complete experience to discover the Saguenay and the Saint-Laurent in a single day. A fluid, immersive and enriching adventure that combines three unique facets of the territory: the fjord, the whales and the mythical village of Tadoussac.
The day opens with a guided crossing of the Saguenay Fjord, where steep cliffs, majestic capes and riverside villages reveal one of the most impressive landscapes in Quebec. This first portion allows you to understand the geology, human history and culture specific to the fjord communities.
You then continue towards the mouth of the Saguenay, one of the best areas in the country for whale watching. Accompanied by naturalist guides, you explore this exceptional marine environment where several species circulate: minke whales, seals, humpback whales, porpoises and sometimes even giants like the blue whale. Each outing is unique, meeting free and wild fauna.
Your adventure continues in Tadoussac, where you get included access to the Marine Mammal Interpretation Center (CIMM). This scientific complement enriches the experience: interactive exhibitions, information on St. Lawrence species, listening to underwater sounds, real-time research data... A must-have for better understanding the behaviors observed on the water.
You also have free time in Tadoussac. You can explore the village, walk on the beach, have a coffee or a meal in one of the restaurants (or simply enjoy your lunch). The day unfolds at your own pace, in a simple and friendly atmosphere.
In the end: a great adventure, three dimensions of the territory, and a renewed look at the giants of the St. Lawrence.
